The Sing & “Yum” Charity Dinner, presented by The Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society (HKACS) and Regal Hotels International, was successfully held on July 25, 2025, at the Regal Regala Skycity Hotel. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our valued partners for their participation and generous support. All funds raised from the event will be fully allocated to support HKACS’s charitable services.
The event was officiated by Professor Chung-mau LO, Secretary for Health of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and Ms. Poman LO, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Regal Hotels International. We are grateful to Regal Hotels International for generously sponsoring us for eight consecutive years, witnessing our efforts in promoting cancer support services.
Speaking at the event, Dr. LEONG Che-hung, President of HKACS, stated that HKACS continues to evolve in response to the challenges of cancer, launching various support programmes tailored to the diverse needs of patients. These include medical assistance, inpatient care, the “Charity Bed Programme,” one-on-one cancer support, and the “Project Wish” programme, which helps fulfill the final wishes of patients. HKACS is also expanding its international presence and will co-host the World Cancer Congress with the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) in September 2026. This global event reflects our commitment to advancing cancer prevention and care both locally and internationally.
The Charity Dinner featured star performance. Special thanks to the “Anti-Cancer Quintet”—Dr. LEONG Che-hung, Dr. KO Wing-man, Dr. Simon KWOK Siu-ming, Dr. Jimmy TANG Kui-ming, and Professor. Sydney TANG Chi-wai, for their dedicated performances. Dr. Eleanor KWOK LAW Kwai -chun and Mr. Edwin CHIU Nga-wing also delivered heartfelt vocal performances. The entertainment industry showed strong support, with appearances by Mr. Ray LUI, Ms. Stephanie CHE Wan-wan, Ms. Vikki TONG, Mr. Joe MA, Mr. Gary CHIU, Music Director Mr. CHIU Tsang-hei and his band, and emcee Mr. LUK Ho-ming. Ms Poman LO’s finale performance was a highlight, showcasing the united support from across sectors for HKACS’s mission.
HKACS remains steadfast in its mission of preventing, combating, and treating cancer, and will continue to fight along together with cancer patients and their families through every step of their journey.
