The 10th International Conference on Grief & Bereavement in Contemporary Society (10th ICGB) East meets West Expanding Frontiers and Diversity was held at the Grand Hall, Lee Shau Kee Lecture Centre, Centennial Campus, HKU on June 11-14, 2014. It was co-organized by Faculty of Social Sciences HKU, Social Welfare Department and International Conference on Grief and Bereavement in Contemporary Society. The Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society was prilivaged to be one of the supporting organizations. Mrs. Pat Chu was invited to conduct an oral presentation on "Supporting the Family as a Whole – A Needs Assessment Study on Cancer Families in HK" in the session of "Care for the Caregiver" on June 11, 2014.

Moreover, Miss Candy Fong of HKU-Centre on Behavourial Health presented on "Towards a Patient-Family Care Model: The Evaluation of a Cancer Family Support Pilot Project". It was the evaluation study conducted on the Society's Jessie & Thomas Tam Walking-Hand-in-Hand Cancer Family Support Project.
